I had never visited a Chocolat Favoris store before, but I was pleasantly surprised by my experience. The store was clean and well-organized, which made it easy to navigate. Despite not speaking French, ordering was not a problem because they had a variety of pictures of items and a wide selection to choose from. I was particularly impressed by their chocolate fondue dipping bar, which offered over a dozen different types of chocolate to dip a soft-serve ice cream cone in, including flavors like cookies and cream, dark chocolate, and orange chocolate. The chocolate dipped cones are fantastic. The chocolate tastes wonderful and solidifies to a thick chocolate coating on the cone. Unlike every other dipped cone I have had in my 71 years on earth which forms a thin coat on the ice cream, the chocolate coating is as thick as a chocolate bar. There are 12 dipping options. In my visit to Quebec, I stopped by two locations and both made excellent treats. I regret that there is no Chocolate Favoris location in Texas.
Jeanne told us to try the ice cream even though it was a cold day! She suggested the orange ice cream with dark chocolate dip. And she was right! It had a thick, delicious coat that had to crack to break! The combination was delicious. Hubby had vanilla with milk chocolate. Very good! The tv screen had a loop of serving suggestion for all their delicious toppings! All looked like fabulous ideas.
Not because this is a Quebec run company that is doing well that makes this the mecca of chocolate and ice cream. I find the chocolate very very heavy and actually hard digest. Even my daughter who loves chocolate does not go. I find that the prices are very high however the portions are fair. I don't know maybe I love American ice cream too much!!! Great little shop away from the city a bit. It was definitely a neat experience getting to design your own treat. Only thing I'd complain about was the sweetness is a bit overboard. I wouldn't be able to finish a middle size alone. Other than that, staff were awesome and helpful and it's a cute place, a little pricy.
This soft serve ice cream is the best I have ever tasted! It is delicious! I would travel from America to Canada just for this soft serve again. It is out of this world! I wish it was closer to home, but unfortunately it is not. Until we meet again...
Always, a delight to eat here, taste was amazing as always, the building was constructed in 1847. close by is Parc Nautique de Cap-Rouge for walk/kayak/paddel boat etc... rental are affordable, good spot to spent quality time with family.

Go every time we are in Levis. Good ice cream with 12 different flavours of dips. My favorite is salted caramel chocolate!
