I came here twice in one day, because I got dragged there the second time. For lunch a friend and I stopped in. It was quiet with only a few local regulars. The bar tender and waitress were both really personable and I enjoyed the small talk with them. A gin and tonic and a coors light was only $6.50. That 's a nice change of pace from the expensive drinks in DC where I spend many of my weekends (Marylander here). We also ordered food. This is the best Italian restaurant in the entire area, and I'd confidently compare it to any Italian eatery anywhere. The place is cozy and quite loud, and some parts can feel a bit cramped, but the staff, the owner, and especially the food are all fantastic! I’ve been coming here for 25 years, and even though I still find it a bit awkward to walk through the bar and past the regulars to reach my table, the delicious aroma that greets me as soon as I step inside keeps me coming back time after time. I highly recommend this spot for dates, dinner, or even a quick lunch. Even the limited parking doesn't detract from the overall experience—it's a solid 5 out of 5 stars!
Had the most amazing tacos there tonight. The beef was braised in the most tasty liquid. Must have slow cooked for hours as I could taste carrots, celery, onions. It was amazing. The fried green beans were great as was the sweet chili aioli dipping sauce! Hannah our waitress was informative and helpful. We will definitely return.

A complete hole in the wall with absolutely outstanding food and service. The specials are on a board that gets brought over to you what's better than that?! The sauce is so good you'll want to just eat it with a spoon. Great food and like stepping back in time. I hope it's there forever!

An excellent pizza and fantastic service, along with a charming little dive bar atmosphere. If you’re a fan of pizza or dive bars, this is definitely a spot you’ll want to visit from time to time when you’re nearby. Go and enjoy!
Their calzones and bar pies are definitely the highlight. They serve the best calzones I've ever tasted. The service is excellent, too. My only complaint is that they only accept cash, but they do have an ATM on site.

Bar pies are a great value and the staff takes care of the patrons. Great place to grab a cheap drink with lots of regulars.
