Soups and chowders that sit in a warm crock all day need to be replenished regularly; otherwise, they end up like what I experienced. If you're looking for wallpaper paste, you might want to skip Home Depot and head here instead—it’s surprisingly sticky! Additionally, be cautious with the Rockfish. The young staff doesn't seem to know their products very well. When I asked if there were bones in the fish, I was assured there weren’t, but I ended up pulling bones out of my throat that night. A more honest response would have been to say that there might be bones, so be careful. Overall, this place is definitely not your best bet. There’s no lifeguard on duty, so eat at your own risk!
I visited the restaurant hoping to try the octopus and chowder, but they were out of stock (which must mean they're fantastic!). Instead, I opted for the salmon jerky sticks and smoked tuna because they looked so appealing. I usually don’t order or eat fish, as it doesn't usually tempt me, but this time it really caught my eye. I have to say, it was absolutely delicious—so good that I couldn’t help but finish it all! I'm not even disappointed that they were out of my original choices; now I have a reason to return and I discovered something new that I genuinely enjoyed. #winning

This was my second visit to Chuck's. The first time I had a large piece of halibut, and it was fantastic. This time, I opted for some cod, which was fresh, but I found the staff to be a bit off in terms of their mood. I really enjoy the fish, but the attitude from the workers was less than pleasant. They ran out of Octopus and Chowder (obviously because it is so good. But me and my lovely wife got some cool seasoning, teriyaki smoked tuned, Smoked Salmon and these cool smoked meat sticks: Salmon, Salmon with jalapeño and Oyster flavors. I recommend if your in Coos Bay.
I stopped eating canned tuna about 8 years ago because of all brands poor quality. One month ago I was gifted with a can of chucks solid white albacore tuna. I am 83. Surely I have found true love in a can
The clam chowder has lots of clams The smoked peppery oysters are fabulous and delicious! The staff are very helpful friendly just terrific people! Stop grab some great seafood clam chowder
Picked up the best smoked Octopus that Chucks has ever made today. I love it when it’s not crazy salty. Also had some crazy good smoked Oysters that were out of this world. Way to go guys Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I have been a customer of Chuck's Seafood for more than 30 years. The seafood is consistently great; their smoked fish is exceptional, and the shrimp cocktails are fresh and tasty.
