This used to be The Peppered Prawn and is still run by the same people, but with a different menu and lay-out. The emphasis appears to be on casual dining, as there are now group high tables and the place is open seven days a week.There is an excellent range of small dishes to share, which is what we did. By having the scallops and the kobasice: semi-smoked, spicy, thin pork sausages, coupled with the prawn pot. All were very good, especially the servings of the sausage. There are gluten-free choices, too.There a variety of wines and spirits by the glass, including ouzo, raki and a delightful Bordeaux rose - very dry and went well with the dishes. We'll be back soon
Someone at work mentioned that the 'Peppered Prawn' had changed to a mediteranian kitchen called 'Cibo'. I was looking for somewhere to meet a friend for brunch on Sunday so tried Cibo.What a joy. All day breakfast to chose from as well as a fabulous lunch menu. All the food that came out to the various tables around us looked fantastic. The service was attentive and genuine (we had a Uni student Jenna - beautiful young lady, nothing too much trouble). Not a huge fan of plastic plants, but then you can't have everything! Nice open space, not too noisy and more importantly none of that 'borrowed' kitchen noise that you get in so many trendy restaurants today.
So refreshing to have a deli in Woden that specialise with gourmet deli lines not available elsewhere. Prices are reasonable. They also have a nice food menu and you can eat on site or takeaway.
La puce is a small and located in a non-touristy neighborhood, but it is usually excellent, and tonight, it was outstanding.

Fantastic food! The family loved the burek and my fellow staff loved the nutella and raspberry doughnuts!! 100% I will be coming back for more!!
Go on Monday. Get the buffet style meal and don't look back. Food and service is amazing. We have been here often as a group with babies.
Great place for a casual lunch. And i also get my smoked chorizo sausages :) Ajvar and chevapi (skinless sausages).
The share plates were surprisingly good. The waiter was friendly and there was more atmosphere than I had expected.

The place is still there, but doesn't do dinners. It's re-classified itself to a deli and daytime cafe.
