A seismic shift from the old 'Cimba ' with new owners and staff the good news, after a period for things to settle, is that the service and food are fine ... and there is more energy about the place especially early mornings. I, and the locals, all love a good selection and supply of newspapers; quick service, people who remember your coffee order and do not forget to smile and most importantly in the present climate people who can adapt to working with, teaching and employing inexperienced wait staff welcome ... and well done.
I visited this café for breakfast on a Saturday morning with my parents and my 10-month-old child. Despite being advertised as kid-friendly on Google, they did not have high chairs available for infants. I ordered the omelette with spinach and feta, expecting it to be cooked inside. However, the spinach and feta were served on the side, along with burnt toast. I do not plan on returning to this café.
Went here on Australia Day, wasn't to busy, got a seat quite easily.I ordered the bircher muesli with a watermelon and mint juice and my partner ordered the BBQ Beef Eggs Hollandaise with a caramel milkshake. Our food came relatively quick seeing with was a public holiday, food was presented perfectly and tasted absolutely delicious. Service was great would definitely go here for breakfast again!
Great food, coffee and, above all, service! We both ordered the Trio of Mushrooms dish, which was delicious. The chef personally came out and delivered the meal to us and explained the flavours, etc. Such a nice touch!! He also checked in with us after the meal to find out if we'd enjoyed it. We usually only have coffee here, but it's safe to say that we'll be back for food : Thanks again!

In a street with many coffee outlets each one needs to offer something special but starting with excellent coffee served as requested. There was a warm welcoming vibe and cheerful people serving in Cimbalino but the coffee served to me lacked both the flavour and heat that I expected on a cool winter morning.
After being disappointed during our last visit to Cimbalino, we decided to give it another chance. This time, we were pleased to find that the service had greatly improved. It is a lovely spot to stop by for coffee and a muffin, or enjoy a tasty breakfast or lunch.
Since the new owner has taken over this place is absolutely buzzing! Best coffee and breakfasts in cott plus you can always get parking and it is still just walking distance from the beach
Took ages to get my pot of tea. Sure, it was pretty crowded at the time, but compared to other places that I have been to, this place was quite slow.

Cosy eatery with nice food and coffee near Cottesloe train station and Primewest mall. Friendly and helpful service from staff. Will come again.
Good coffee and drinks available with a choice of foods in a casual setting. Friendly staff make it a place to visit regularly.
