I just ordered empanadas, chorizo, chicharrón, buñuelos, pan de bono, and chocolate, and wow! The empanada was incredibly crunchy on the outside and absolutely delicious. The chorizo was perfectly cooked, and the pastries were fresh and tasty. I frequently eat here and usually get the arepas rellenas, which are fantastic, but this was my first time ordering breakfast for delivery, and I am blown away. This place has officially become my favorite!
The Pollo Empanizada was delicious and perfectly crispy. The white rice was possibly the best I've ever had—moist and fluffy, I absolutely loved it! However, the frijoles were too watery and tasted overly oniony, almost like soup. The tostones were thin and crispy, which was great! I had requested a side of garlic sauce for dipping my tostones, but instead received a small container of hot sauce and a mix of mayo and ketchup.
I went to this restaurant for breakfast and was really impressed by the generous serving sizes, which are characteristic of Colombian cuisine. The food was delicious and fresh, and the service was attentive. However, I should mention that I visited on a quiet weekday morning. I'm interested to see how they handle a busy weekend and whether they can maintain the same high standard for both food and service.
I’ve never been to this restaurant, and I’m not particularly fond of Spanish cuisine. I often find it to be overly salty. I absolutely love it! The Colombian food here is truly authentic, and the service is outstanding. The staff really went above and beyond to make me feel at home. The place is also very clean. It's a lovely family-run establishment. If I could, I would give them six stars!
I ordered the CAZUELA PAISA and, oh my goodness, it was amazing! The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, making it a great spot for a quick lunch in Hackensack. The ladies working at the counter were really lovely, too.
