Impromptu visit after putting on 6,000 steps at local trade show (lots of walking for 2 mature citizens, each returning to activity after rehabbing injuries . While we planned to have dinner after the show these two long time besties failed to make advance dinner reservations. Big mistake given it was not just a Friday night dinner, it was also Valentines day! I made an online order for pick-up. The website was easy to navigate and order from. Upon arrival I did not use the curbside pickup but chose to go into the restaurant instead. The environment was clean and the staff were friendly. The food was ready and easily picked up. The food was tasty and with the exception of the fried pickles. I don’t know if it was just because I ordered it to go. When I tried the pickles, the breading had become liquified and it was like eating plain pickle chips. Other than that, the food was good.
My girlfriend and I were driving around and decided to swing in. I had the pulled pork and she had the brisket, the food was good however their sauces on the side made up for some of the flavor that was lacking. The employees were wonderful and helpful. The sides are basic barbecue sides. If you are expecting a fast, good and inexpensive barbecue place then this is where you should try. Food: 3
