My favorite restaurant is Francesca's North on Clark St. The service is outstanding. It's difficult to choose from the menu because the food is all delicious. However, the menu has changed, and there's less of a focus on pasta now. The house red sauce is spicier than it used to be, which is disappointing because I used to enjoy it a lot more. I’ve had other good experiences, but I’ve heard they’ve altered the menu and introduced small plates. I still love the concept, and I hope they bring back the non-spicy version of the house red sauce.
Francesca's consistently offers delicious food and a cozy atmosphere, but what truly sets it apart is the staff. From the warm hostesses to the attentive servers, they ensure you feel right at home. However, the real standout is the bartender, Pablo. He not only crafts the perfect drink to your liking, but his personality and professionalism are exceptional. My favorite moments are spent chatting with him at the bar, enjoying a fantastic evening with friends. Pablo is simply the best!
We had a fantastic dinner at Francesca in the north! My sister, Marvella Marion-Bowen, and I tried a variety of appetizers and enjoyed every single one. The manager, Danny, was incredibly friendly and welcoming and engaged us in great conversation. Our waiter, Pablo, was exceptional—kind and attentive, truly perfect. The dishes featured delicious sauces, rich Italian spices, and we loved the warm, soft bread with sweet butter. We can't wait to return!
The ambiance and food is absolutely fabulous BUT the staff is amazing, caring and truly made it a special night for us and all our family's occasions. Margo was a phenomenal server with excellent customer service and attention to detail. Also, Pablo made us fabulous drinks to celebrate the evening! Thank you both for going the extra mile and making our night extra special
Francesca’s Northbrook never disappoints! The dinners are consistently delicious with attentive service. This evening, my husband and I enjoyed the wonderful salmon with roasted carrots, onions and fennel along with the Francesca salad- yum! Looking forward to our next visit!!
I used to really enjoy the Francesca chain, but I went there last night and everything felt like it was pre-packaged, especially the calamari. It used to be fresh and properly battered, but now it seems different...
I hosted a group of 20 in the private room for a baby shower and was very pleased with the quality of the food and the service by our waiter Gary. Everything was fantastic!
