We have been going to City BBQ for many years, and I have always raved about it. However, last nights visit may have been my last. I always order the brisket, but this time it was very dry and tasted like salt. As far as atmosphere the dining area looks like a storage closet with industrial shelves and boxes stacked high to the ceiling. There was so much clutter it was hard to maneuver to the fountain drinks. The staff was super nice and they were all working hard, but my tray sat on the counter for 15 minutes as they added items. A lot of the food was cold by the time it was ready for us to take. I also miss having the sauces on our table, and being able to serve myself onions and pickles....
We ordered the PULLED CHICKEN for a pool party this past weekend and offered the hot sauce and the sweet sauce to our guests it was AMAZING!!! Highly recommend everyone loved it! We transferred 5 lbs at a time to a crock pot for serving and keeping it warm. We ordered 10 lbs for 50 people (30 adults) could have gotten away with 7 and still had leftovers. DELICIOUS!!
brisket was cooked to perfection. Baked beans were absolutely amazing and the mac and cheese was just what you needed. Overall a great value for money ?I also lost my phone here and they let me spend the time I needed to find it even though I found it on top of my car. God bless the Folks here who work here and the food is second to none.
Texas BBQ that reminds me of home! Sliced brisket is the best. They tend to get orders messed up but are good about making it right. Get the app and receive all kinds of discounts! Peach cobbler used to be good...but not so much anymore...avoid.Food: 5/5
