I believe I've just discovered my new favorite barbecue spot! As I browsed the menu, I mentioned to the person taking my order that they should offer a combo featuring a little bit of everything. It turns out they actually do! I wanted to try it all: half a pound each of brisket and sausage, half a rack of ribs, and half a chicken, all served with two large sides. Hats off to C&J for selling ribs by the rack instead of by the pound! At its new location, the restaurant can be a bit tricky to find, as Google Maps may lead you in circles. To reach the right spot, simply enter 2112 West Briargate Drive in Bryan into your GPS. It’s a great venue for family gatherings; our party room accommodated 30 people and was clean and well-maintained. The menu offered plenty of delicious gluten-free options, which we really appreciated. I'm grateful for this restaurant, especially during a time of need for our family and friends. We enjoyed watching sports while we dined, and the bathrooms were nice too!
This was our 1st experience with TX BBQ since moving from FL a few months ago. The line was long, the service was good but the cashier didn't know what came with our meals and I believe they over charged us. $35 for a pork sandwich, small Mac n cheese, a pork plate and 2 drinks. They gave us a number and said they would bring out the fries that came with the sandwich but they never came. We even tipped!! Overall, unimpressed. 1st and last time coming here.

C&J BBQ was good but not as good as it?s been in the past. I can?t really put my finger around it but maybe more commercial. The glory days of eating at C&J back in college, it felt more authentic. I don?t know. I got the double meat plate with chicken and brisket with Mac n cheese and potato salad. I really liked the jalapeño poppers. They are opening a new location so I don?t know.
I think it just found my new favorite grill. While I looked at the menu, I made a comment to the person waiting to take my order along the lines they need a menu item for some of everything. Came in on opening day, the barbecue was some of the juiciest and most flavorful I?ve ever had. I ordered the Pork ribs, Moist brisket, and the Jalapeño Cheese sausage with Macaroni Salad and Loaded Ranch Potatoes. Really great and clean atmosphere with some of the best barbecue the Lone Star state has to offer.

I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and a grilled burger. They both were good but, I have to give the edge to the pulled pork. The meat wasn't dry and the BBQ sauce had a sweet spicy taste. Well definitely be ordering this again.
