Claws is an institution that you can not miss. As a local to the Midcoast I look forward to when they open for the season and get pretty bummed when it?s the last week and it?s convenient location makes it hard not to stop on a more regular basis whenever I?m driving by. The views are outstanding and it?s an excellent place to wait for the ferry to Vinalhaven or North Haven because you can see the ferry enter the harbor just past the breakwater/lighthouse. I ate a dozen lobster rolls on my 2 week vacation to Maine (including Red?s) and this place was hands down the best. The lobster was perfectly cooked and lightly seasoned. I thought they also offered the best roll. We got a 1/2 lb roll and loved it so much we got a second one. Now we are kind of broke and it was worth every penny. I promise you won?t be disappointed.
Amy and I had our last vacation dinner here, and we both ordered the Rockland Shore Dinner. The lobster was perfectly cooked, the ear of corn was delicious, and the blueberry scone/biscuit was a treat. Add in a couple of local beers and you've got the ingredients for a great Maine meal. Easant servers and beautiful location. Highly recommended.
Really great place! Great view and friendly staff. The prices were quite reasonable for seafood. Very recommended to check this place if you? back from the beaten path. The lobster dinner at $36 comes with a ton including steamer corn, biscuit and more. Also recommend the fish tacos.

Amazing lobster, great service, no-fuss casual ambiance! We had a 1.5lb lobster and a 1/2lb lobster roll and everything tasted amazing. Best of all, the owner brought a big, live, 4lb lobster around to show us! Desert was amazing too. Highly recommend you try this place
We love this place and look forward to seeing it again on our next trip. It was one of these wonderful sunny, breezy days on the terrace on the water with which everyone should be encouraged. Excellent food, atmosphere and wonderful friendly staff. Just magical!
Excellent location, service and food. Great price for a lobster dinner. Lobster roll had a great amount of lobster, mom loved the coleslaw. Nice clean bathrooms. We had no problem parking as it wasn't quite summer tourist season yet.
The food was great. The best coleslaw in Maine. The blueberry biscuit is unique. They serve the corn boiled in the husk. Overall makes it all quite memorable. I ordered my lobster lazy style did not regret it.

Delicious food! The Lobster Mac and Cheese was amazing, and the onion straws were delicious as well. It was a long line but well worth the wait! The view in the patio seating is gorgeous as well.
We got to Claws on the last day they were open this year and are so glad we did! Becky our server was awesome. Food was delish?best lobster roll we had.
