I 'm thoroughly convinced the bathrooms were never actually meant to be used. It 's rather akin to pissing in a crushed cracker jack box. I suggest warming up with a few yoga stretches beforehand so you don 't end up pulling your spine out of alignment trying to drop a cleveland steamer. I 've never been a huge fan of the buffet setup--it 's small and its location forces you to end up grinding on those people that just can 't wait for two goddamn seconds to get their egg roll--but some of the food on it isn 't bad...
I am a huge fan of Chinese food and this was one of the most disappointing if not the most disappointing chinese I have ever eaten in my life. I don't enjoy leaving reviews like this but this was bad. We walked in and the atmosphere is a really cool place *the only reason to give them 1 Star other than your forced to give at least one* Now to the food, we got there around 3:30 so we figured it would not be busy... and it wasn't at all so perfect, other than there was only 1 type of chicken and for the 4 of us that came in there was not even enough chicken in it to all have some, the rice was okay. If you're looking for a Chinese Buffest experience Clevland Wok is the place for you. With mediocre all you can eat food it captures the buffet at it's finest. Being located in the middle of the busy Highland area parking is very limited. Had to park on a residential street and walk a couple blocks. The restaurant is dark with booths as well as tables. Not the best place for socialaizing. The toilet, wow, not good! If you have to go to the bathroom this is a last resort kinda bathroom. Located in what looks like a little closet the toilet is in the basement and seems like it comes out of a scene from a horror movie. It gets the job done but may take away your appetite. Cleveland Wok reminds me of the chinese buffet in my small hometown in Southern Minnesota. It's a smaller buffet, but all of the dishes are always hot and fresh. They also have a menu that can be ordered from too. Personally, I usually do buffet because I like to try a little bit of everything. Wontons/egg rolls are always fresh and crisp. Their hot and sour soup is some of the best I've ever had--I think that's what keeps me coming back. They have a good selection of chicken/pork/beef/vegetable dishes as well and those never disappoint. I LOVE the Cleveland Wok!!! This is one of the best places to get lunch in St Paul. Anybody who says it is bad dont know anything lol. Its Asian lunch buffet, u cant have huge high expectations. Except this place is actually good and exceeds expectations!! so wow. i love it. Lunch buffet is so good and cheap. like less than 8 dollar. My favorite thing here is the BEEF n POTATOES! I load up my plate full of this. It is so good. I think owners must be Vietnamese, dishes are Vietnamese influenced, like Viet egg rolls, etc. Soo tastey. As Chinese buffets go, this is one of the better ones in the Twin Cities, imho. The food is fresh, replenished often, and though there's limited steam-table space, there's a good variety of selections. I've never gone in and found a selection to be cold, or over-aged on the table. Pretty great egg rolls and fried chicken wings. Food advertised as spicy isn't really, but it's fine, with fresh (not soggy) vegetables. A few good vegetable selections, including some of the better Asian green beans you can find at a buffet. The only thing I'd avoid would be the chow mein, which is mostly sauce celery. The space is cozy, the staff is friendly and prompt. Worth a stop!
Cleveland Wok is a great spot for a good Chinese lunch buffet. Not your normal buffet where all entries are fried, which is nice, but stir fried chicken tossed in all of your traditional sauces. I really liked the pepper chicken and the meat trio dish. Rule #1 is Chinese buffets when it says meat you either go two feet in and love in or stay far away as you have no idea what you are eating haha
Best Chinese food you can get in Highland Park! This place is a family restaurant that serves both a lunch/ dinner buffet as well as food you can order off of the menu. Buffet is filled with your typical Chinese food rice, chicken dishes, veggies, soups, noodles, chicken wings, cream cheese wontons, etc. Buffet is cheap and taste good. You have to try it out!

Pretty good Chinese food. The Potstickers were average but the sauce was great! Kind of a sweeter sauce but I loved it. Solid and a good price.
