On a positive note, the service was fantastic. We ordered the Tuesday tacos, and they were excellent; the salsa had a wonderful flavor, and you could tell that the kitchen staff takes pride in what they serve. We tried three different varieties of tacos, and they all had great flavors, were a nice size, and were well presented. The happy hour drinks were a bit weak, but the tacos definitely made up for that. However, cleanliness should be a top priority. First impressions matter, and it's crucial for customers to see a clean environment before they eat or decide to return. Because of the lack of cleanliness, I wouldn't normally consider coming back. Only had the fried/melted cheese, but it was great. But this review is for the bartender. I didn't even catch her 5 she was so warm and inviting. The way she treats people was so refreshing in a world that seems to mostly be going in the opposite direction. It felt like we had been invited to sit at her kitchen table.
Eat here regularly as they sponsor our beach football league and I really enjoy their food. They have a range of options and all of us have our go to dish! We always meet here mid day on Saturdays and snagging a spot on the patio and enjoying the sunshine, views, company and food is perfect!
The food specials are great, but I don’t think a pint of Guinness should be priced at $12—that's more than a meal! It seems the bartender has a tendency to overcharge, so I recommend getting your drinks from the waitstaff instead. They’re excellent and won’t try to cheat you on the price. I needed to catch the rest of the Monday night football game while I was in town and this place took care of that job. I didn’t get any food so I can’t comment on that and of course beer taste like beer sooooooo!
Tuesday surfcity nights and farmers mkt. Hurricanes has amazing street tacos and ceviche tostadas outside under a canopy on the street
