I recently visited Coastal Grill with my family during our trip to Virginia Beach and had a disappointing experience. We had made a reservation online and arrived on time, excited for a nice dinner. However, upon arrival, we were informed that there were no available tables inside and that outdoor seating was the only option due to the restaurant's current capacity. Unfortunately, the weather was scorching hot at 90°F, and dining outside wasn't an ideal choice for us. We were surprised and a bit frustrated as our reservation didn't specify whether we'd be seated inside or outside. My wife and I couldn’t have picked. better place to dine for our Anniversary! Adam served us and was wonderful. He asked if we wanted to dine at a normal speed or slower. His recommendations we spot on. The food was incredible; so much flavor! Highly recommend the Salmon and Halibut. Finally, their service went above and beyond any other restaurant we have ever visited. As we walked out from dinner, our valet had already brought our car around and the doors were open ready for them to assist us! Amazing! Ritz Carlton-level. It was all truly an experience! Thank you! For dinner, I had an exceptional experience dining in at this restaurant. The meal was priced at over $100 per person, but every penny was worth it. The food was absolutely fantastic, deserving a perfect score of 5. The service was equally impressive, also earning a 5. The atmosphere complemented the meal perfectly, creating a delightful ambiance that enhanced the overall experience. Highly recommended!

I had a flawless dinner experience from beginning to end. The service was exceptional, and the meal was delightful. With prices ranging from $50 to $100 per person, it was worth every penny. I would rate the food a perfect 5, as well as the service and atmosphere. I highly recommend trying the Bronzino Mediterranean Sea Bass, Baked Goat Cheese, and Grilled Salmon. We enjoyed an outstanding meal with exceptional service provided by Montana, who was fantastic. Our group of ten mostly indulged in the soft-shell crabs, which were the best we've ever tasted. Enjoyed a very nice meal. However, made reservations a week in advance but, when we arrived place at the smallest table against a wall with a large mirror on it making the table feel even smaller.
