I first reviewed this gem in 2014. So I thought an update was worthwhile. I must say its not often you get to write two reviews 5 years apart but my interest in this place has not waned. Well it's still all about the coffee and it is still the best in town. And the love and passion for the beverage comes out in everything they do. Since the extension a couple of years ago there have been some steady changes for the better. In my last review I said the food was almost non existent. Bit by bit that is no longer the case. This is my all time favourite coffee shop in Adelaide. The coffee is so smooth. Vincent the owner is great and his staff are a credit to him. The service is fantastic and the coffee is always consistent regardless of who makes it. They offer phone orders to save time for your commute to work as they are so popular there can be a long wait. There is more than enough seating to dine in. My only regret is that I don’t work that way anymore but I will drive there every so often to satisfy my cravings. The prices are slightly more expensive than other shops but it’s worth it! Nothing else compares! They tick all the boxes. The staff also bring out a fresh bowl of water each time for dogs.

I had coffee here almost everyday during my trip. It is that good. The staff is prompt, coffee is good, and they have a wide selection of muffins/pastries to pair with your coffee. It can get crowded so be prepared to wait a bit longer for your coffee during peak periods. Also, do note that animals aren't allowed inside, so do be prepared to meet some furry friends if you do go for outside seating!

After spending the past three weeks in the UK, where I was drinking lukewarm, weak coffee and eating prepackaged food that had been sitting in plastic bags for days, I decided to visit CBTB this morning. It was definitely one of the best cups of coffee I've had in Adelaide, and the focaccia was delicious. The service was incredibly efficient and friendly. I'm glad to be back in my adopted home!

I absolutely adore the atmosphere, the attentive service, and the abundance of delicious desserts at this restaurant. As someone who enjoys long black coffee, I am particularly impressed with their blend and can definitely sense the level of care and detail that goes into their drinks.

This restaurant has a loyal following of customers for good reason. The coffee is excellent, the snacks and meals are delicious, and they offer options for those with gluten and dairy sensitivities. The staff is welcoming and attentive, and the service is quick and efficient.

Both had great coffee, freshly made juices and yummy muffins ! Service by Chloe was excellent ! Would definitely recommend a visit and will return when next in Adelaide.

I recently had the pleasure coffee from Coffee By The Beans. Probably the nicest coffee I have had all year. Beautiful flavour, very smooth and Service was first class.

This is my “Go to” coffee joint in the west. The owner staff are always really inviting and friendly, and their coffee is so damn good.
