Today service was diabolically slow. Two young staff members behind the counter. One was “training” the other on the job. It was midday Monday 4th March and very busy. The girls were having all kinds of problems so one asked a colleague (on her break) to help… she just sat laughing and watched !! Very uncomfortable to see such behaviour. Appalled at the lack of team work. Thankfully the coffee and cakes were good.
We were really looking forward to coming in, the drinks were great but the staff were very inconsiderate. Nobody could have a conversation due to cups and saucers being banged around constantly. Now I understand why it was the only place with hardly any customers in.
Really used to enjoy coming here. The coffe and hot chocolate are really nice and the seating is comfortable. Me and my wife come here and play board games whilst here and like to use the bigger tables (we obviously buy drinks whilst here) as...
