From a former employee of two years: Owner, Scott Otis, mistreated and abused employees, verbally and mentally. Showed favoritism through sexism and took advantage of young employees, forcing them to risk their own health to do dangerous tasks theya re not permitted or expected to do. The owners had no regard for schedule complications, health issues, etc. Overworked and overscheduled minors, despite the state’s labor laws. During Covid, several employees contacted the virus, and despite the state mandate at the time, they kept the store open with no covid safety precautions. Unsanitary work environment, there are roaches in the back and insects in the ice cream. Mold on the walls and in cab...
The staff here are incredibly rude. Especially the older woman possibly in her early/mid 20’s with brown and blond hair. I came here with my daughter on Saturday and she gave us nothing but attitude the whole time we were ordering. We didn’t ask for anything too difficult just some signatures that were listed. Not only was she being rude to us but some of the other employees as well. I would NEVER let my daughter work there if that woman worked there. I don’t know what her problem was but she needs to treat not only the CUSTOMERS better but also the EMPLOYEES. I will not be back and I will be telling my friends about this. I feel bad for those employees, I hope they get treated better.
as someone who knew a former employee, I've been struggling a couple I'd like to share. the manager, scott, has the habit of not paying out the last checks of the hired when they give up. he also has a bad habit to force minors to work 10 to 12 hours shift without pause, no session, and no access to basic pleasants, (food, toilet, etc. scott is currently accused before court because of his misconduct and abuse of a disabled worker. he regularly forces children to commit the violations of OSHA health codes and prohibits them from wearing gloves. do not buy ice cream here. it's too expensive and scott doesn't deserve the money.
I used to work here and I can say with full confidence that the managers/owners abuse younger employees. They take advantage of fourteen and fifteen year olds by making them do a required 10+ hour training program on the computer (unpaid). Furthermore, they schedule young employees the day before a shift and refuse to take them off the schedule when met with resistance. FOURTEEN/FIFTEEN YEAR OLDS: DO NOT WORK HERE. IT IS NOT WORTH THE MEDIOCRE PAY.
first I didn't know if they were the manager or a new crew member standing around under 5 crew members. there was a decent line. the worker took my order then went away to laugh and had to come back and ask for my order, then she went back to make my order with another worker who stood around laughing to ask for a jump on my shake. the workers were not effective to reflect teamwork during a busy moment and showed no professionalism.
My Bestfriend and Myself decided to stop by about 15 minutes before closing, and the staff refused to serve us, they kept insisting that they were closed. I've never had this happen to me before so I was baffled. Hopefully if I ever decide to go again I'll be treated with more respect. Very disappointed with the service of this place.
Took my daughter for Father's Day Treat.For Sunday's their advertised closing timings are 7.00 pm. We were there around 6.35 pm. The employees refused to serve us and were straight out rude.PS : You spoilt a perfect day for me and my little one. Please honor the advertised time or update your website.
I loved this place until I found out from Mall staff that the manager scott let his two dogs run out of the leash and in the kitchen are unsuperated. I also found out from another hired person that scott made fun of a pregnant woman (in her third quarter), while she fought to stand from her chair.
this place should not be open anymore, they tear off their own hired and if the owner ever gets mad at his associates, he doesn't even pay them at least
