Not only was there good drunks at a good price but Dan helped me massively because I dropped my ID between the slab flooring and he tried everything to get it back an was succeful in the end getting my ID from between the flooring. Very helpful and a lot of effort committed to the cause. Highly recommend the service
Great night, i had a booking for 6 that turned into 8, and the host happily accommodated us and up on the terrace with a lovely view of the Castle no less! The Food and service were great, which sometimes is not the case with a large group and our table and view was comfortable, thank you for a fantastic evening!
Super easy and friendly place to go for evening drinks. The service was quick and so thoughtful! It started raining halfway through and suddenly umbrellas were being moved, blankets handed out it was lovely. Drinks were so reasonable considering it's location and they were all brilliant quality. Absolutely fantastic venue, the best dog friendly bar restaurant we have been to and we have ventured to many! Brilliant food, excellent music with some classic funk and soul, lovely interior and stunning m outside terrace with a direct view of Edinburgh Castle. The staff were great too. A hidden gem. Popped in for lunch on Thursday, booked a table for Friday. Food and beer was very good especially the loaded fries and meatballs, one of the best pornstar martinis I have ever had, great view from the terrace and great service. What more do you need!
Cold town beer was amazing! Food tasted fantastic, the staff and our server Haley were incredibly friendly and checked on us often. It was also quite affordable for the food and drinks we got. Will definitely be back before traveling home.
Came with a group of friends for a meal before a night out. The food was delicious and the drinks were lovely, especially the ‘Poison Prince’ cocktail. If I could make it again at home I would!
It’s a nice setting with a OK not an amazing view of the castle. The service was good, but the food is pub grub at best. Definitely nicer places you can visit with or without the view. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
It’s often difficult to turn up and eat here, we had a booking this time. Great selection of beers. Good atmosphere and service. Meatball sub is recommended.
