The brewery is tucked away in a back alley in York City, making it a bit tricky for first-time visitors to find, and it’s easy to miss the street altogether. The building itself isn’t very large, so it can feel quite crowded when they’re busy, which is a downside considering their growing popularity—I imagine an expansion might be on the horizon soon! The bar area can get a bit hectic, and sometimes the bartenders seem a little disengaged, but overall, they do a decent job. In the past, the food left much to be desired, but they have really improved over the years. Most items on the menu are now quite tasty, and the kitchen staff is doing an excellent job. Delicious food, excellent beer, and ample space! We visited this place during a birthday road trip with our one-year-old, and he absolutely loved the crab dip pretzel, beer BBQ wings, and kimchi fries. The beer flights were fantastic—we ended up ordering two just to sample all the varieties we wanted to try, and they were all impressive. The sour beers were especially notable, delivering that delightful tartness that really gets the taste buds going.
This tap room is fantastic, especially if you can locate it behind King Street. I sat at the bar where Zack kindly recommended and provided samples of the beer. I ordered the jalapeño cheesesteak, and it was spot on. I don’t quite understand the obsession with tater tots, and I think they should ease up on the cinnamon in the fries. Overall, this is one of the better options for quality food and drinks at a good value in downtown York.
This delightful neighborhood restaurant has an outdoor parking lot, making it easy for guests to access. We discovered it on a Sunday morning while wandering around, and it truly impressed us. The ale house offers an extensive variety of IPAs, complemented by tasty food. It's a laid-back and enjoyable way to start the day, and it's welcoming for families as well! This place has an incredible selection of beers, offering a variety to suit every palate. If you’re a beer lover, don’t miss out on Collusion during your visit to downtown York. On a beautiful day, you can relax in the outdoor space, where you can play cornhole and enjoy some art. It's also a great spot for a quick stop to pick up some 4-packs.
They should definitely think about including "Tots and Tacos" on the menu. We saw that you smartly relocated the tacos to the appetizers section—nice move! We recognize your talent and would love to arrange a meeting with you.
