Saturday evening meal was the best yet fine wise! crab pate with armagnac starter was delish main was the duck with plum in a Fab sauce .. it was a Saturday, they were busty so our table was down in a windowless room when she moved the chairs up it was noisy! when we visited the last time we had a window seat that was fab! good service, although the waitress might have been more friendly .. loving place will return definitiw

what a wonderful place and the most delicious nut roast and mushroom gravy I ever had! the best service and at a really good price. we will definitely book again at your next visit in buxton. can not wait x

The food was fantastic and the staff was very understanding and informed about gluten free options. I had total trust in their handling of my dietary needs.
on Sunday we have eaten long and we eat a lot. perfectly cooked lamb and chicken. really fresh ingredients all amazingly cooked. can not recommend enough
