Compilation Coffee Roasters Ft. Greene

The coffee is decent but roasted a bit darker than I prefer, and darker than their branding implies. The space can be somewhat hazardous—there's a corner with lamps hanging less than six feet above the floor. I ended up hitting my head pretty hard when standing up from a nearby chair. Compilation Coffee Roasters Ft. Greene has a great atmosphere, but the drip coffee I tried didn’t quite hit the mark. The blend, called 86, seemed oversteeped or overextracted, resulting in strong acidity that overwhelmed the flavors. The espresso might be a better choice. The service was good, and the menu offers options within the $1–10 range for dine-in.

A lovely, spacious coffee shop that’s perfect for sitting down to eat, chat, or get some work done. The coffee is bold and full-bodied, and the croissant was warm and flaky.
