Vegetarian and vegan items are all clearly marked on the menu, and there are lots to choose from! Customers fill out an order tab that check off all of the items they want on each taco, including a choice of three vegan tortillas, fajita veggies, and one of three proteins including Thai chili tofu, roasted portabella, or BBQ pulled jackfruit. This restaurant reminds me a lot of Barrio, it almost feels like they just opened another branch. The vegan options here aren't very impressive, it seems like they just added them to the menu as a formality. The guacamole was decent and the tacos were okay, but overall, I don't think it's worth a return visit in my opinion.

While I appreciate the range of vegan options available at Texas, I found that it was too similar to Barrio Tacos. I was hoping for something more original. The tacos were decent, but a bit underwhelming.
I have only ordered takeout from this restaurant, so I cannot comment on the space, but I order tacos from here about once a month. My favorite toppings are the Thai chili tofu and portobello proteins.
