Wir waren morgens bei -3°C unterwegs und hatten eine Skitour gebucht. Wir mussten ein gutes Frühstück haben. Als Mexikaner sind wir es gewohnt, ein deftiges Frühstück zu haben (Eier, Pfannkuchen oder etwas schweres). Aber in Europa ist das fast unmöglich. Also fragten wir einen Einheimischen, wo man gut frühstücken kann, und sie sagten mir, ich solle nach Rieder kommen. Es ist erstaunlich, wie gut die Schokolade ist. Ich bestellte eine kalte Schokolade, ein Mini-Baguette mit Schinken und Käse und ein Gebäck mit Haselnüssen. Alles war perfekt.
While we’ve been in Switzerland, we’ve developed a taste for a dessert called Coupe Nesselrode. It’s a delicious concoction based on meringue, ice cream, and industrial quantities of chestnut puree topped with cream.In the interests of Science, we tried this dessert in a number of places, but we kept coming back to the Confiserie Rieder. They make the best Coupe Nesselrode in Interlaken, possibly the best in the Known Universe.
We stopped by for brunch and it was lovely-- great service, reasonable prices, and yummy food. We had the breakfast special of croissants and bread with jam and cheese and coffee. Their sweets inside looked amazing too! Nicest waiter and mostly local customers who all seemed to know each other. Free wifi and nice bathrooms too! Would recommend!
A nice place to stop for a coffee/tea, and to try some sweet (and/or not so sweet) stuff. Chocolates to go, pastries, cakes, and similar products. This small confiserie produces home made eats at very reasonable prices. We went there because there were lots of locals eating there. Lovely fresh salads and baquettes made to order. The pastries and cakes were really good. Just 20 yards at the back of the City Hotel Oberland.
It is a small tea room the food is excellent it serves good coffee and hot chocolate. in the winter you can sit out side with a rug over your knees to keep warm while you have a drink also if you like your tea they have a good selection of Teas and also cakes and pastries
Tolle hausgemachte Süßigkeiten, sehr freundliches Personal und gemütlicher Kaffeeladen! Probieren Sie unbedingt die hausgemachte heiße Schokolade, sie ist die Beste. Ein definitiver Besuch bei meiner nächsten Reise nach Interlaken.
Oh wow, we only stopped here the once for a quick drink but upon going inside they had homemade chocolates. Oh they are to die for!! We bought some to bring home and I'm wishing I'd bought more. These definitely should be tried. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Ein sehr gemütliches Café in einer wunderschönen Umgebung, betrieben von Mitarbeitern, die wissen, was Kundenservice bedeutet. Kuchen zum Dahinschmelzen und Schokolade - sagen wir einfach nicht mehr.
