Four of us had dinner at Congress before attending a play a couple of nights ago. We did not have a reservation but still got seated promptly even though it was reasonably busy. My wife and I had been to Congress previously, but our friends...had not. All in all, it was a good experience. Our waitress was friendly and efficient (student working on her MA in religion and politics), which we quite appreciated. Our food met everyone’s expectations; tasty, fresh, hot). The drinks were very good (I had the 9-Mile IPA; would definitely recommend). All good; highly recommended.
Far and away the best combination of food/cocktails/beer in Saskatoon. The bartenders are friendly, knowledgeable and creative. The servers are both personable and attentive. The head chefs and their staff are top notch as well. I've been here dozens of times and my food has always been exceptional. Most importantly, I always feel well looked after when I visit this place. It's obvious that the owner(s) care deeply about their business and customers.
they have a hard time to choose the beer to enjoy with so many different sorts on tap or in a dose / bottle. if they are an IPA fan, they cannot go wrong with the odin brewing galactic space dragon. eating is also quite good. on the baked braut (a half torte served with many small toasten, garlic and candied nuts) and the smoked paprikachips with a delicious sriracha aioli. service was good and the ambiente beautiful (music is a little loud.)
I had the best dumplings ever at this restaurant! Don't forget to order a side of rice to enjoy every drop of the delicious sauce. Our server, Kate, was extremely friendly and took great care of us. Positive vibes, plenty of choice for beer and drinks and American food make this pub one of my favorites to go for a night with friends. They also have a private room for a quiet setting. Brand new design. Nice and clean. Perfect price and...value combination. Highly recommend for its snack food and company nights.
Great vibe and relaxed atmosphere with friendly knowledgeable staff able to recommend the perfect ale or wine. Incredible food as well. The ginger beef is the best I've had yet! I'll be returning to this gem of a place!
I always come here when i want a comfortable place to enjoy some beer and food and relax. Servers are always great and love the laid back atmosphere
