I've been to Cookies a couple of times and so far, the food's standard has been increasingly disappointing. We ordered the prawn firecracker, curried soft shell crab and crispy pork belly curry. The star of the night was the prawn firecracker- the spring roll itself was nothing to shout about, but the coriander and avocado dip was amazing. But the positives stop there. Not only did we have to wait almost 40 minutes for our food to be served, the crispy pork belly was definitely not crispy at all and the waitress had made a mistake with last order and served us a seafood curry dish instead of the curried soft shell crab. This has been my 3rd time at Cookie and the food is always amazing! However the server was not attentive to us at all, she looked bored and was not very helpful when we asked her for recommendations on the menu, and how many dishes we should have. We finished our drinks before the food was served and she did not ask if we wanted more, nor filled up our water glasses until we finally waved her down to ask. By the time she came around asking how our meals were tasting...we were done eating. I will say the food was really delicious, and the restaurant is always great on meeting special requests when we reserve a table. Eg: A booth by the window they accomodate every time. I have eaten at Cookie twice in the last 6 months and both dining experiences were fabulous. The service is professional and staff know the menu and can make recommendations. The pork, peanut and potato red curry was delicious, full of flavour and tender morsels of pork. My husband and I both loved the firecracker prawns but my favourite dish was the pepper prawn and bamboo shoot rice noodle rolls, spicy with a good chilli kick. I look forward to my next visit to cookie.
We took the option of having a banquet (8 people). The food was ok some really good, other dishes average. What I don't like is being ushered out by 7:45 and refused any desert or coffee. I understand that this is the way restaurants are going these days, but it makes for a very unpleasant experience at the end of your meal. We had to go somewhere else to enjoy more cocktails, dessert and coffees. Not going back.

We loved the busy, vibrant bar scene of this inner city favourite. The service was friendly, with a waiter who actually offered some great wine suggestions. Gluten-free options easily available and the food was delicious. Our teenager loved the mocktail while the beer-swiller was spoilt for choice. Cookie is part of several levels of bar, each with a different atmosphere worth checking out. A lot of fun!
The food was amazing, a good selection. The waitress we had wasnt particularly helpful in our ordering process however it worked out well in the end. The restaurant itself is pretty noisy so probably not an ideal setting for business conversations. Not cheap but not too expensive either the food was delicious!
This was the first time my partner and I have eaten there and the service was magnificent. The waitress we had was on point, we weren't waiting long for beverages upon ordering and the food was magnificent. We will definitely be returning again soon for another great dinner
Everything was delicious except for the broccoli rice salad which was a little bland. The music was loud, but that's the kind of vibe of this place. The drink lists are extensive and would be a good reason alone to go here. Book early or sit at the bar.

Overall we loved the food here. However it is difficult to find. Very noisey and dark. Dont go for a romantic dinner or a business meeting coz you cant hear a thing. Otherwise staff were great.
Catching up with some old friends at Cookies was a great experience, though I think there is scope to reduce Butter and Sweetness sugar) in the dishes.
