I stopped by here with my friend from the states and we had a great time! We ordered strawberry and mango nitro-ice creams and dragon breath. Was not disappointed. The ice cream was made with cream, frozen fruit, sugar and nitrogen. It was creamy and tasted the way it should, not too icy or artificial. The dragon breath was puff Cheetos soaked in nitrogen. It was fun to play around with and it definitely took that unpleasant saltiness of the cheese away. When you enter the store it is basic with some chairs at the front but if u move back there's a pink room and some high chairs to enjoy your ice cream on. We had a lot of fun at this ice cream shop--it was a great place to stop in after wandering around in the sun for a few hours. It was a fun experience to just watch your sweet treat be made. One of us was only 7 and he was absolutely memorized. When they serve your ice cream treat they add a little extra nitrogen for a little extra show of flair and he just thought that was the coolest thing--and I have to agree, it was pretty awesome. Got the Mr. Brownie which comes with two scoops of average flavoured chocolate ice cream with brownie bits, two roasted marshmellows on a stick, syringe with chocolate syrup and half of a Two Bite Brownie to top it off. For $7.06 (tax included), I was expecting alot more flavour wise but this really seems like something you can put together with items from the supermarket because it was very average. I guess the two scoops of ice cream makes it worth it? Maybe their other flavours are better. If you're keen on trying, I suggest splitting it with a friend so you won't wonder why you spent $7 on average ice cream.
A new and cool ice cream concept where they make fresh ice cream right in front of you. It 's a cool experience to see how they freeze the cream with liquid nitrogen. They offer a number of different ice cream items that should suit any palette. The only issue I had was that I felt that could have added in more toppings/flavour to the cream as sometimes when I go I can taste more cream than strawberry, mango, etc. Comparing to other ice cream fad places, the price is on par with them. I tried the dragon breath, which was basically cheetos with the nitrogen (basically was cold puffy cheetos). They looked cool but in the end, my friend and I weren't feeling too great afterwards, my stomach felt weird while her mouth felt weird. I personally didn't like it, it looks cool but I wouldn't say it's delicious or out of this world. It would be nice for Instagram or Snapchat videos and pictures that's for sure.
Basically, fancy dippin dots. You'd be paying $8 for the experience--bells and whistles (or flavor burst syringe, in this case). Cool watching the ice cream being made, but nothing exceptional about the actual ice cream flavor, as the flavors are coming straight from the syrup that are added as finishing touches, and of course the fruit on top. Don't know that I would keep going back, but not a bad thing to try.
The ice cream is made from scratch but the downside of this is the long wait time. Tried brownie and oreos also. What I like is that the ice cream is not too sweet. Its creamy and quite delicious. Not the biggest fan of the random gimmicks like the syrup syringe injected into the ice cream or the roasted marshmallows. However, the nitro makes for a pretty nice effect and I like the taste it produces.
very cool concept! very refreshing and good price. I had the ice cream version which was very creamy but similar to ice cream, now the pop ice is special, it's like dippin dots made fresh in front of you. the mango pop ice is really good, had fresh mangos and lots of milk cream dot clusters. stays cold for a long time and doesn't melt quickly, would have this again! The concept of Cool N2 is pretty cool, but the ice-cream is nothing special IMO. I got the Oreo flavour and it tasted exactly like your typical cookies and cream. Portion sizes are average and I guess the preparation process and experience makes for a good Instagram post. Apart from that, it is fairly expensive for the quality and bland-ness of ice-cream received.
