Oh my, the quality has declined. The restaurant used to be great but now I'm not sure what happened. Everything is so dry. The fried chicken is overcooked, it's tough to chew and has a rubbery texture. The rice and peas are too hard and the macaroni and cheese is like leather. The seasonings are off as well. It doesn't taste like authentic Jamaican cuisine. This is my third disappointment so I won't be ordering again. The chef really needs to change their cooking technique. The food just isn't good.
It’s opened 24 hours and I can honestly say you can tell! The steam table always look disgusting ! Food always look dry not appetizing at all! There was only 1 worker he handled both food and cash at the same time I’m not comfortable eating there after seening all that I saw the owner should hire more staff and keep the restaurant looking tidy ! Oh and they had the fried fish swimming in dirty oil on the TOP not even inside the steam table
Food got 4 stars because I only tried the jerk chicken so far. They move fast for the crowd that they had when I came in the restaurant. The man serving my food was very pleasant and the man cashing out customers was very pleasant. We drove down from CT. Late night. And we weren’t disappointed. Oh and I had to ask if the price was right 2times because the total was Low it was right ?
Horrible subpar food. I got the jerk chicken with rice and peas. The chicken was stale, hard and dried out. I couldn't eat it. I requested stewed chicken gravy, but got some kind of sauce that was over powered with ginger and big ginger chunks. Big disappointment!!! i used to be a frequent customer until they changed the large plate container. it was a circular foil and now its a small black rectangle. I would have paid more for the circular foil but charging me the same price for less feels like a scam. I dont go there
Very nice people smells amazing, clean but you have customers who come in and does interrupt customers while placing they order and it does have the cashier mess up your order if you don't pay attention. Bought beef patties ?? AMAZING.
This is a take out restaurant. I do recommend the curry goat. I will try other meals the next time I go there. There are various baked goods which are available. Breads, cinnamon rolls etc.. The prices on some items are reasonable.
I ordered the stew peas with oxtails, along with rice and peas and cabbage. Unfortunately, the stew peas and oxtails were not enjoyable. I also did not care for the cabbage. The only good thing was the rice and peas. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I am a regular customer at this restaurant, but my recent orders, including the jerk chicken with rice and peas, have been extremely disappointing. The chicken was dry and unimpressive. I am very dissatisfied.
