The POOR ratings that are required per the instructions are given as these comments should explain. We have gone to Cooper House about 10 times since it 's renovation and renewal. A beautiful site, a great beer listing and always something to satisfy my appetite. We/I have never been dissatisfied and I would give them superior marks based on those experiences;HOWEVER: I always rely on their website for up to date hours, access to menu, etc and lately have been using open table for a reservation. The food was terrible. My wife and I ordered the salmon, but it was overcooked, and the vegetables were drenched in grease. We've visited this restaurant several times before and enjoyed the salmon and chicken dishes, but this experience was disappointing enough that we're unlikely to return. The wine selection is really subpar; both the house red and white were nearly undrinkable, and the portions are quite small given the prices. I wouldn’t recommend this place for dinner. It was Super Bowl Sunday, and the restaurant was empty, which speaks volumes.
We had high hopes for the Cooper House, but were really disappointed. The service was truly horrible, which seemed to be because they were just understaffed. Once the food came out (which took about 45 minutes), it was mediocre at best. One was completely cold and dry (imagine left overs reheated, then left to sit) and the other had no flavor. The only positive was the decor and location, which is quite nice. We absolutely will not be going back.
We experienced a company happy hour that spilled into the dining area, making it excessively loud. The menu is limited, more suitable for appetizers and burgers, with very few main courses. the wings were brilliant, the brisket could be more spiced like a meerrettich sauce used to give more of a bite, was the burger ok and the regular pommes were good the waitress was a little slow to reach you
the waitress had to be stopped every time we needed something, instead of checking if we're okay. it felt like it would do the necessary minimum. Eating was just okay, probably not back.
they closed without warning and despite my 730 watch reservation. my friends and I went there to meet us for our reservation and there was a closed sign on the door.

The service was good, but the atmosphere lacked excitement. The food was quite bland, and I was expecting much better. I wouldn't return.
