However, there were a couple of downsides. The hoagie wasn't cut in half, which is usually a plus for me since I'm often on my bike and enjoy having half a sandwich before reaching my destination. Additionally, I was hoping for a seeded roll like the ones I had seen in previous photos, but it wasn't the case. It's also worth noting that pickles, sweet peppers, hot peppers, and other toppings are served on the side rather than on the sandwich itself, and there's a $20 minimum for credit card payments. Overall, I can definitely recommend Marinucci’s Deli if you find yourself in the Port Richmond area.
I called to address the issue, but I kept getting transferred. When I finally explained the situation, the girl on the phone was quite rude, insisting that the peppered ham I had requested to be left out was actually on the sandwich. I also inquired about the total, as it was higher than I expected, and her response was equally dismissive: “Yeah, well, the menus are like five years old, so yeah, prices have gone up!” She really needs to improve her attitude; otherwise, I don’t see her lasting long at the counter.
Marinucci's is fantastic! You really can't find a better value anywhere else. The lunch meats are of the highest quality. I ordered the Italian hoagie, which I like to call the "two-day sandwich" because half of it fills me up nicely along with a drink and some chips. I’m pretty sure a quarter of the sandwich would be enough for an average-sized person, but I'm a big guy, so I always get my fill here. The staff is consistently friendly, and the prices are unbeatable. I’ll definitely be a loyal customer for life!
In contrast, Marinucci's lived up to its advertising—everything was fresh, the seeded rolls were fantastic, and they used Dietz & Watson meats. The hoagie I had was not only delicious but also enormous. The staff was quick and courteous. Marinucci's has the best hoagies in Philadelphia, without a doubt! The seeded rolls are simply unbeatable. I highly recommend them to everyone! They use the freshest meats, and the pickup service is fantastic. The restaurant is clean, and the staff provides excellent service. Marinucci's is definitely the place to be!
The Nucci is excellent, and their Italian Hoagie is fantastic as well! We always love the food from here. If you're thinking about trying it, definitely go for it! These are hands down the best hoagies around. The Macaroni Salad (1 lb) is incredible, and you absolutely have to try the marinated mozzarella balls too!
Excellent experience! The meat was fresh, and the bread was equally delightful. They followed my instructions perfectly. I appreciate that they thoughtfully placed the toppings on the side, preventing my sandwich from getting soggy. I couldn’t ask for better service—definitely a 10/10. No complaints at all!
I absolutely love this place! I don't get the chance to visit often, but when I do, I usually order a ham and cheese or a roast beef sandwich on a seeded roll. Not many restaurants serve American hoagies these days, but Marinucci's is not only one of the few that does, it's also the best one I've had in a very long time. In fact, it's one of the best hoagies of any style that I've enjoyed in ages. Great place!
