A great downtown restaurant with exceptional good food for the price. Full Bar, an assortment of areas to eat in; table, round table, booths with plenty of waist room and comfortable seats. Flat Screen TV’s on every wall. Outdoor sidewalk patio. And great service. Wait time on food is amazingly fast. The only downside are the bathrooms are upstairs of which you have to climb some rather steep rounds stairs. So for those with mobility issues, you’ll be disappointed. However, there is another Copper Penny out on 759 Bayridge Drive. It is wheelchair accessible. Has a water falls on the back wall. Very nice washrooms on the main floor. Stopped in here for dinner recently and couldn't be happier. We managed to get here before it got too busy and the service was quick and friendly. We had the Tequila/Lime Chicken wrap the Asian Chicken Rice Bowl. The Asian Chicken had great flavour, I would highly recommend this dish. The wrap was tasty with this unique dressing, and the gravy....mmmm.. it was really really good... That was an added bonus to great meals
My friend and I just wanted a burger and beer so we could sit, eat and chat. We got exactly what we wanted and expected.The waitress was friendly, and she claimed that people rave about the fries (which were fine). She had good suggestions for beer.I found the "stairway to the washrooms" kind of funny. :)
We choose Copper Penny based on the feedback from Trip Advisor. This place is great, well located and the food is delicious. The service was super friendly. Definitely a must-go back destination for us. Well done.
