The food was good, but OMG was our waitress rude, she an attitude from the second we sat down. Everything was a bother to her, my friend asked for ketchup and she rudely said I KNOW. Then at checking out WOW, I had a gift card and she rudely came back to the table yelling at me telling me it was invalid, I didnt want to argue and just said ok and paid without it. She should be FIRED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this short skinny middle aged woman. How dare she speak to customers that way. If this place wants to keep a good rep, they need to get rid of her. I've passed this place a thousand times, but today we went in. Totally blown away. The place was packed on a Thursday night and now I know why. Wine and beer come with any entree. A full menu including a long list of appetizers. We got the Bavarian pretzel and coconut shrimp. Amazing. The choice of entrees, unbelievable. Weekly specials, seafood specials. I got the seafood fra diavlo and my daughter got the rib eye special. So good. We were so full, the portions were gigantic. Prices were fantastic. This is our new restaurant. It's rare that I'm blown away by a restaurant these days, but this is a hidden gem. I shouldn't even be leaving this review, it's the best kept secret.
I called to order a steak sandwich and received a rude response from the woman who answered because she couldn't understand me. Since I was working nearby, I decided to go to the restaurant in person and brought my two coworkers with me. The food was just average, but once again, the service was terrible, and the woman's attitude was downright unprofessional. I won't be coming back; this place seriously needs to improve its customer service. What a disappointment.
Menu prices on THEIR OWN WEBSITE must be 2-3 years out of date. Burgers are now $20! The new menu prices will be on your table when you are seated. The prices on Google/menu and on the cornergalley website are $13.95-15.95 CG used to be a bargain. I'm not saying $20 is too much money, but now I'm just put-off. I ordered the eggplant Parmigiano, and it was the best I've ever tasted. The salad was incredibly fresh, crisp, and full of flavor. The pitcher of sangria was fantastic as well. I even took some of my meal home with me!
The staff at this restaurant is incredible! I always have a fantastic time when I visit. I'm even planning to celebrate my 50th birthday there in September. It's consistently a wonderful experience!
Always a great meal at the corner galley. Staff are always nice and accommodating. Cannot beat the salad and beer/wine with a meal. The best deal in town. It is low key and down home.
