I stopped by for a beer and a quick snack while waiting for my ferry back to Quebec City. Unfortunately, the female bartender was not very friendly. My table had crumbs on it, likely from the night before, since the pub had just opened. The beer was only mediocre. The kitchen floor also looked quite dirty, probably not cleaned in days, which made me hesitant to try the food. I won't be returning.
This was the best brisket I've ever tasted—so tender and juicy! The side dishes were excellent as well. The atmosphere was lively and enjoyable. Although I don’t drink beer, they seemed to have a nice variety. My cocktail was wonderful. We took the ferry at sunset, which allowed for some stunning photos.
Laid back atmosphere, great service, and great food. Had some brisket with side beet salad, which was a nice substitute to the regular fries, even though they did look good. Was a great combo with the haskap sour. Tasted the poutine, and the fries and gravy were also quite good.
The food was tasteless. They got our order wrong and charged us wrong too. So we had to tell them! Everything is so overpriced for the city and the quality. A bunch of drunk white dudes were constantly yelling and staring at us, very uncomfy! The staff was nice though. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Seating next to the upstairs section where people were throwing things around made for an unpleasant experience. The food was decent, but waiting 30 minutes just to be served a glass of water is frustrating. I felt like more of an afterthought than a valued customer.
Excellent service, even during busy times! The atmosphere is very laid-back. I recommend starting with the Les Bonbons de Cochon as a shared appetizer! We visit almost every Friday night and always get a pitcher of hibiscus beer. Cheers!
Food is very good. In our group we had fish and chips, burgers, and beet and goat cheese salad.The food was great all around.Vegetarian options: Very limited.Kid-friendliness: It's a brewery. Not the most appealing for kids.
We had a fantastic experience at the restaurant! The rock music was great, the servers were friendly, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the ricotta, salmon, and strawberries platter for two. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Great Pub to take a beer near the ferry. It has the best view of the Frontenac castle. The parking is limited but the good beer make up for it
