A friend of mine recommended this restaurant, and I was not disappointed. We were greeted warmly, and the service was warm and hospitable. There was a good lunch menu, from which my friend ordered the Chicken Curry, which he said was excellent. My wife and I were recently visiting Lawrence and we ordered a take-away from Cosmos Indian Cafe. The food was tasteful and closer to the authentic Indian food experience. In fact, we ended up ordering a takeaway the next day as well. Overall, delicious food and a place which we will certainly order from the next time we visit Kansas.
They sold me an expired product and then refused to refund/replace because I did not have a receipt, even though they see me in their store every week. I showed them that the rest of the batch was expired too when I went later to get the refund and they acted surprised about it. Avoid this place.
Been here twice, the first time it was pretty good but was a bit lacking in spices. This time around was fantastic, very flavorful. Highly recommend the vindaloo and garlic naan. If you are in, or visiting lawrence, you should definitely check this place out!

Everything about this place was great. The food, the service, and the ambience. On a chilly Sunday afternoon, we all enjoyed the lovely Butter Chicken and delicious and spicy Vegetarian Biryani. A must visit place.
First time trying Indian food and I was very impressed. Food is amazing with great service and great location. Most meals are about $11+ everything is very tasty and delicious. Give it a try!
This place is my go-to for great, authentic Indian food! Super-fast pick up and dine in service, would definitely recommend to anyone in the neighborhood.
