I am a support worker and I took my lady to bury for the day, she is in a wheelchair, normal size one, our experience was having to navigate through 2 tables which made it narrow to get to the locked door you need s code for, staff didn't advise or mention receipt, we waited as the toilet is used for baby changing too, the corridor we waited in was tiny no room for me my lady and a wheelchair, the door to toilet so close to door with key code and impossible to hold the key code door, the toilet door and to push my lady in, id really like someone from Costa to put someone in a wheelchair and give it a go. I was buying a coffee and a tea for my partner and I. There was a long snaking queue of about 20 people all socially distanced. I had been in the queue fir 10-15 minutes and a young woman who was so sick she using a Walker came in and asked to use the loo. She was sent to the back of the queue to buy something. I was by now third in the queue. I addressed her and invited her to go before me, and I said I would buy something extra and she could leave. She was obviously pleased to move up the long queue. I insisted she left. She agreed to move ahead in the queue and offered to buy my drinks. I refused. I tried to call over the staff to excuse her from buying a drink. I said to the young woman...
Popped into the store this morning with my two children whilst the car had the MOT. We were after cakes and hot chocolate as it was a miserable day. With two small typically they needed the loo. To my surprise we needed a code to get this. I asked the lady making the drinks and she said we can only get it with a receipt. I explained we are ordering in a mo but wanted food so didn't want to take that in with us. Her response was we needed a receipt. So we left. We went round the corner to the arc coffee shop and said can we use the loo first. No problem. Then we ordered our drinks and got the cakes.
Good coffee, friendly team, nice and clean (loos included) but sadly failing on the disability awareness front particularly for those like myself with low vision. Try as I might I couldn 't read the loo access code on the receipt nor could I see the numbers on the loo access code lock. There 's nothing wrong with this system, but the very dim lighting was the issue here. Being offered 'assistance ', well meaning and intended as it was is NOT the answer.

We have used this s cafe several times in the past 4 weeks. With a new born baby this has been a welcome pitstop to have a drink feed the baby. We also brought our 3 older granddaughters here as this company is one of their favourite places they were not disappointed either. It is sited in a convenient place. Staff are pleasant helpful, COVID precautions are well established. We will continue to visit this cafe.
Travelled in all the way to collect a too good to go bag in the heat. (wasted travel cost) They forgot to make a bag up/cancel the order. I arrived at the time allocated to which they asked me offered me a drink instead. Which I didn't want to take because I only came for food and needed to get a bus back quickly.
It was ok, but nothing sparkling. Seem to wait an age to get served. It was more frustrating that others were joining the queue and their friends were going to the tables and then swapping around and staff didnt say anything. The drinks and food are as you would find in s Costa.
I wanted to say thankyou to the staff member who helped clean up after my daughters spillage this afternoon! Really helpful, great customer service, I really appreciated the help :

As you hope for Coffee is the same and made to same standard through out the chain, just like the cakes and sandwiches.... IT SO SLOW
The coast is average not very clean nice food and sandwiches but could do with more staff and a little nicer coffee
