Costa Coffee is a chain of fantastic Italian style coffee-shops that offer a range of coffee's and tea's and iced drink's and snacks and other light bites at reasonable prices. Costa Coffee was first established in 1971 by two brothers in Dunstable and now there are many of these coffee-shops dotted all over the UK and all over Europe/Asia/Africa and the Middle East. Located on Victoria road west and in a very busy area of Cleveleys this superb coffee-shop has an excellent Costa Coffee themed interior with all of there menu on prominent display. Walking down Victoria Road West in Thornton Cleveleys my twin brother Stephen and I decided to drop into this Costa Coffee outlet and what a great time we had. A lovely cafe,spotlessly clean, nice decor and furnishings including a superb glass fronted serving bar and plenty of seating options spread throughout this cafe both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Victoria Road West. We were here on a Wednesday morning, just jumped the tram down from Blackpool, we track and traced and sanitised our hands and ordered a cola each as it was a really hot day ,served iced cold, we just kicked back, chilled out and planned out the day ahead while sipping our cola's. I had a terrible experience at this restaurant that I will never repeat. I went in for coffee on New Year's morning and waited in a long, slow line. I ended up paying over £6 for two lattes that were mostly hot water with a splash of coffee and cold milk. There was nothing on the saucer and the drinks tasted terrible. The tables were dirty and the prices for snacks were too high. There was no festive atmosphere at all. The worst part was the restroom, which was shared by both genders. The toilet lid was broken, the floor was wet, the soap dispenser was empty, and there was no toilet paper. Another customer was already complaining, so I just left and will not be returning.
Even though I wrote a review of this coffee shop three months ago, I feel compelled to write another one. Yesterday, I went to the Costa coffee in Morecambe and had the worst flat white ever - I think the barista forgot to put the coffee in! Today, I revisited my local Costa coffee in Cleveleys on Victoria Road. The coffees are amazing, as are the staff. I was served today by Sarah and George, who are not only exceptional baristas but also have a lovely combination of being friendly and professional. The Costa Coffee in Cleveleys is truly exceptional.

Ordered lunch from Costa for my family but they did not send full order out that was paid for, I rang to get this sorted out but was told nothing they can do. They did not send the missing items from the order nor did I get a refund for the missing items that was paid in full when the order was made. So I had to order food from a different place so my family did not starve. DO NOT ORDER FROM COSTA unless you enjoy having your money stolen and being left to starve.
The hot chocolate was delicious, but unfortunately the tables were not cleaned and the staff seemed unhappy. It's disappointing that they are not meeting expectations. They should consider providing better training for their staff on table cleanliness and customer service, or hiring additional employees if necessary.
I have to agree with the last review. I normally enjoy a costa coffee but every time I go to the Cleveleys Costa, the tables and toilets are filthy. Always flies on the cakes on display. The flat white just tastes of milk, can’t even taste the coffee!
I would not visit here again. Flies everywhere! Not just a few, they were all over!! In the toilet and all over the cups and fresh cakes which are not covered! Tables dirty and not wiped down after customers leave.

Went in twice and they didn’t have what I wanted in stock, kept filling cups to the top so they spill despite asking them not to fill it up
