In the Eaton Socon branch i purchased 2 small americanos one with one shot and and the other with 2 shots (normal). I asked for the spare shot from the single coffee to be put into the normal coffee. I was told that I would have to pay for an extra shot. I pointed out that I had already paid for it as the single and 2 shot coffees are charged at the same price. The young man serving me insisted on making a charge. Obviously I refused to pay twice for the same thing. I have made the same request in other Costa shops and many neros. I have never been charged. This branch needs to urgently review this crazy policy.
My Husband and I have only used this place twice, the first, I vowed and declared never again, but today was any port in a storm. OMG, 25 mins to get a cup, or bucket, I didn't actually want a large but not their fault. However, the coffee, made by the barista, was spilled over our food, and not even noticed. It was not that busy! I am so fed up paying through the nose for the privilege of waiting for barista to **** up my order. Good God there are 2 family run cafes in the town, that managed to take your order, and deliver a beautiful coffee to your table in 2mins. Suggest that the staff actually work
Costa is well known for its high prices, but the lady at the till handled the rude old man complaining about it very well. Drinks are always made beautifully, staff always go the extra mile, take trays over for elderly people and people with prams and babies, swap food or drinks if not how the customer likes it, they take the time to talk to you aswell. Been in a few times and if ever someone complains to the staff about their drink or food the staff always do what they can to make it right and make customers happy
As there was only one member of staff taking orders and making the drinks, it took a time to be served, not helped b the customer before me struggling to pay by mobile ‘phone. Coffee wasn’t very hot, more like luke warm, panini and toastie ok. Had to ask for cutlery (toastie and panini were not cut through fully) and no serviettes, had to ask for those as well. By the time we had finished there were three members of staff serving so queue had gone down and service was much quicker. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Disgusting place. Not many people waiting to be served but still took 20 minutes to finally get served. And then the young lad doing the coffee was more concerned about running his hand through his hair and then handling our coffe cups. Staff seem to be on sleeping pills and disgusting to boot. Never again
Wherever you go in the country, Costa Coffee is always the same and St Neots is no different. It was relatively quiet today so plenty of food available. Coffee was good and my son enjoyed his kids hot chocolate. The staff were attentive and friendly. Would visit again.
On our way back from our break, popped into Costa, St Neots and order a cake and the new Ruby Cocoa Hot Chocolate. A really nice drink. Great customer service with all smiles around and atmosphere really peaceful. Thanks Costa Coffee
Best costa around! The manager here (girl with ginger hair sorry I didn’t catch your name) was very accommodating and had excellent customer services skills, from what I saw she is a credit to the store and an excellent manager!!! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
This Costa gets a bad time but today I came in for a tea and some toast, the staff were lovely, chatty and helpful. Nice to see the place with plenty of staff and happy to serve you.
