As Costas go, this is somewhat disappointing. While the coffee is good, you have to pay extra for any milk substitution that isn't soya. Service was good and the staff were friendly and helpful. The interior is very tired, with marks and scuffs all over the floor, walls and furniture. The flooring is lifting in places which could present a trip hazard for some people. Most of the café looks generally unclean and in poor condition. The upstairs toilets were out of service and so only the accessible toilet downstairs was open. The tables were clean, but the service from a young female this morning was poor. I ordered 9 beans on my app and bought two hot drinks, but she charged me for both. I explained that I should have gotten a free drink, but she said I had already purchased 11 drinks and now I was eligible for a free one.
Glacial pace of service shabby decor floor covering worn and lifting tables left uncleared the only redeeming factor is outside seating, but given the three other alternatives within 100 metres have outside seating and kerb appeal its about time this franchise bucked up its ideas or shut down.
The hot chocolate and latte were only lukewarm, and the store was dimly lit and looked a bit dirty. There were food crumbs and bits under our table, and the windows were filthy. Very slow serving me with my coffee to busy doing delivery orders I waited over twenty minutes should serve customers in coffee shop first some customers left instead of waiting any longer this was my first time out I have been shielding for over twelve months not pleased
I have never been inside the restaurant, but I used the convenient walk-thru on the side. It's a great little concept. There were no lines, and I enjoyed a delicious iced coffee with excellent customer service.
Polite and friendly staff. Always clean and tidy and staff are always happy to help. My favourite Costa to go to.
