Cosy Dove - Tisch resevieren

I last reviewed The Cosy Dove at Spital Tongues a few years ago when I raved about the Theakston’s Barista Stout, which sadly due to the dismal state of the country has disappeared Mrs B is doing a nearby muddy fun run in aid of Bowel Babe cancer research today at Exhibition Park, so suffering from dodgy knees currently and not being able to stand for extended periods (go on feel sorry for me I’ve dropped into the too-near-not-to-go-into-again Cosy Dove for lunch while I wait to hear she’s completed her obligations and can be collected to sit on the bin bags to protect the car seats from her and her friends’ muddy torsos. We decided to have a last-minute Sunday lunch while visiting our daughter, who has recently moved to the area for University. It was the best Sunday lunch we have ever had! We couldn't find any faults with it. The desserts were also amazing. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back. Thank you for a fabulous afternoon.

I ordered the beef stew and veggie burger. The stew was delicious, but I wish the portion was larger. The frozen vegetables that came with it tasted very watery and soggy. The veggie burger was a bit messy, but still tasty. However, I found the prices to be too high considering the quality of the food.

We entered to a very chilled vibe and were greeted by Josh who was very welcoming and very helpful and the food was lovely and perfect portion size, we will definatly be returning.

Amazing food and staff and cheap drinks compared to most places. We had our Christmas dinner there with friends and the service was exceptional.

We booked a Christmas meal here for our friends and had an amazing time. The staff were lovely and all of the food was delicious.
