we have my wife's birthday. first, the service in this restaurant is always fantastic. we go every year. I had a grilled sea roast and it was absolutely delicious. really beautiful balance of aromen (although it didn't need the tapenade, as beautiful as it was). we believe that this last visit was on the big one and that the muddles were not their usual plump greek, so this time I gave a 4* for eating. Calamari-Starter is always my target and it hasn't disappointed me. my daughter had a filet steak and she said it was delicious big visit, it was worth it for the service alone
We all had steak frites which I have had many many times. We all noticed that the steak was much smaller than previously. One portion was very tough too. I think I’d prefer to pay a little more rather than you cut back on quality. Also the chocolate sauce for the Coup Noir was half the normal size didn’t even coat half my ice cream. Obviously your costs have gone up but Clifton Cote is packed every night. Better to put prices up a bit rather than compromise on quality.
A new and simple meal, the Tartiflette which was good as a filling and warming mini lunch. It was quieter than usual hence the fewer stars for ambience because we were earlier than usual 12.15, and it’s just after the Christmas period. But this is still my favourite restaurant.

We had a lovely meal at Côte in Clifton. Sobor was a great waiter and the food was excellent.
Cote is always good. The concept works and the food is excellent and good value for money.
Friendly and attentive service, gorgeous food and pleasant ambience. Will return for sure.
