I have to admit that the problem with our experience was the rating given, presumably by other TripAdvisor reviews, of 4+ and even more so by TripAdvisor listing it as the 2nd best restaurant in Séguret. I can only assume that the previous good reviews...were made when the restaurant was having better times or perhaps were overly influenced by the basic ambiance of Seguret rather than the restaurant itself. Certainly, it is NOT the 2nd best restaurant in Seguret but a distant last. Perhaps this is exaggerated by being next door to Le Mesclun, which fully deserves its rating and is by far the best restaurant in Seguret and probably amongst the best in the area. On holiday in Provence in July we went as a family(6 adults and 4 children) to a prebooked lunch at the Cote Terrasse in Seguret.Not an easy place to find on your first visit..our sat nav finally ended up guiding us through the vines on...a single track road,fortunately meeting no oncoming traffic.If deciding on a second visit next year,I would have no problem in finding my way to the restaurant. we have eaten here after three years. it is still a pleasant wise to spend a few hours eating nice eating, served by competent people in a quite amazing environment at a very affordable price. we will return.
Great value; excellent menu choices; swift service; good location in amongst the narrow and pretty streets. Same owners as the lovely Bastide Bleue which is just outside the village itself
High quality French cuisine. Enjoyed the Entrecôte steak great flavour but quite tough and chewy (hence 4 stars not 5). Lovely service, always very friendly, and great wine (of course).
