in the midst of the weinberge des cotes du rhones village, this restaurant is located on a circular traffic. inconvenient on the outside, but attractive in the inner. it has a beautiful garden, but it was very windy when we were there, so we ate inside. the service was a little slow to get rid of, and eating didn't always work for me. the amuse beech was a prawn “foam” that had a certain amount of taste, but absolutely no substance. the fois gras was her specificity and perfect ok. the lamm main course was in a very strong and more salty sauce, I felt (although the men seemed to like it). the weeping list was huge, but didn't seem to have many local weeping on him, which is a little strange....
Location km south of Cairanne on a roundabout, just north of Vaqueras. So you’re not going for the view, there are other places. Lunch is stunning and really great value. courses for or for Starter of chilled tomato soup with...concasse of gorgeousness with feta on a tuile brilliant, intense with Provençal sun. Main of pressed lamb shoulder over risotto with French beans also fab. Desserts of café gourmand or cake or cheese also unmissable. We will be back!
Regulars of the region and its restaurants, we have come to this restaurant several times and have, on average, been happy, which is why we came back last night. We were not so thrilled this time as the service could have been (much) friendlier, especially...the sommelière. who did not show much enthusiasm in working; Too bad because the location and setting of the restaurant are great. I do not think we will be going back soon.
Good restaurant on the wine road between Cairanne, Vacqueras, Gigondas,... Not only for tourists, lots of french guests Full menu, à la carte or just foie gras, toasts and a bottle of Cairanne (lunch) or Gigondas (dinner)... this „will make your day“ Integrated wine shop...with big choice of local wines. My recommendation: Château le Bosquet, great Gigondas, young talented winemaker, the coming up adress in Gigondas

This restaurant will not disappoint. The food is over the top. We chose the course menu for lunch. All of our dishes were prepared with care. The flavours were awesome. We gave the menu a work out. The wine list is extensive and a...price point for all. The service was excellent. Chef Cyril came to our table to deliver course. BTW the restaurant was full on a saturday afternoon. Highly recommended.
what a great sound! tastes wein at domaine basse pique and asked mr. tropet to recommend a restaurant in the environment. this place was mining from its place and offered a pleasant experience to lunch. can't go wrong! also to visit his wein...domaine... a small productur who is passionate about his wein and makes some big red and a beautiful white.
we live very close to this restaurant and in the past we were insulted by the arrogant service and mediocre food. recently we have dined there twice and are amazed by the change. really attentive service, a very comprehensive list of weeping from all...France and an interesting and well prepared menu.
we gave up to go into this restaurant, as the service was terrible and the eating was mediocre. we decided to give him another chance and were very pleased about it. a charming team with good eating and some interesting crying. I hope they can. keep this standard.

We went two years ago and went back this last week — excellent meal. The lunch special is a steal; euro for two plates at this caliber of restaurant is a bargain.
