Came here during lunch because it was recommended by a coworker and was highly disappointed by the service and food. The restaurant has a cozy diner atmosphere. As we entered, we were not greeted or offered menu when seated and service was very slow. Our party also received unwelcoming looks from the waiter and other customers at the restaurant. I ordered their California omelette with country potatoes and white buttered toast. This was our first visit to Rosie's. We stopped in to this family run spot for breakfast last week. The space has some kitschy little touches like a silverware clock and outlet plug ins in the booths??? It could definitely benefit from a little face lift. Service was another area that could have used a little improvement. We were greeted and seated and then left to our own for a bit. The menu options are plentiful which is not always a good thing. The food was mostly hit or miss for us. The hash browns on the Benedict are very pretty but were left uneaten due to the stale grease taste. The scramble was pretty tasty. I recently visited this restaurant with my wife and toddler and was disappointed by the flavorless food and lackluster service. The pancake combo with eggs and sausage was underwhelming, with the waffle and pancake tasting bland and doughy. Even the maple syrup lacked flavor. The potatoes were the only highlight, while the eggs were overcooked and the sausage burnt. The chicken and waffles were pre-frozen and had a chewy texture. The service was also lacking, with employees standing around and forgetting to refill our water and coffee. Overall, I give this restaurant 2 stars for its decently clean environment but would not recommend it for those looking for a tasty meal and good service.
The only downsides were a $2 upcharge for replacing potatoes with fruit, which is unusual as most places don't charge for this substitution. Additionally, I requested light cheese on my omelette but received American cheese slices instead of the regular cheese I was expecting. While it was okay, I'm not a fan of the flavor of American cheese on an omelette. Despite these minor issues, the meal was reasonably priced and overall enjoyable. Such a nice little breakfast experience here today with my mama. Love the customer service, the older man that works there was super sweet and kept coming to our table to refill our coffee. The food was good what you'd expect for a long standing American breakfast diner and nothing more. The food was fresh and arrived quick.
Food, service and ambience was not good. The building is old and just feels dirty. The quality of the food was horrible. Meat looked diseased. Service was ok, but my server clearly seemed like they didn't want to be there. I will not go there again.
Great mom and pop breakfast spot. Nothing special about the interior, but the food is good and plentiful. Some of the servers aren't the friendliest, but the food definitely shines.
They never disappoint! Food was great! Service was phenomenal! And an atmosphere for a party of 10 with 2 babies was no problem. Love this place!
