I came here with my partner recently the food was nice like every other time we visit, but I’m going to have to give 1 stars based on the not just shocking service that we received I felt intimidated and uncomfortable by a certain member of staff she had mid length blonde hair with glasses she seemed to throw our food at us aggressively and we were both left quite shocked we saw her walk back and seemed to give us dirty looks in the end we finished up our food and left as we didn’t want to stay in this uncomfortable environment. I don’t usually complain or like to complain but this instance really was something that bothered us.
The fish was mostly batter and overcooked, with only about 2 chips per meal. I ordered scampi without being asked if I wanted a small or large portion. The chair had no cushioning and the table was uncomfortable to sit at. The sausages arrived late, which meant my meal was served in two separate sections. On the positive side, the waiting staff were friendly and the food arrived promptly.
My husband and I eat here once a week and I can honestly say we have never had a bad meal. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The only bad thing I've found is it really needs a deep clean lately. Lots of dust and dirt on the floor and in grooves on tables in the dining area. A few of the chairs are also in need of replacement as they are rickety.

Keep well away from Wetherspoons Oldbury I ordered a 75cl bottle of wine only to be served a 187ml bottle then ordered extra Cheese on a Jacket Potato only to get a normal portion. The staff couldn't care less here keep your money for places that care this place doesn't.
What a beautiful pub! Quite an extraordinary experience. It's a well lit place with loads of book and knick-knack shelves. Unique, fascinating and very charming. Food and beer, as is usual for Wetherspoons, is decent quality at a bargain price and served very quickly.
Went here after not going since prior to Covid, recieved a £75.00 fine! Parking was not clear as the carpark was overloaded with cars/vans. Didn't see any signs on the inside of the pub? Really frustrating as i enjoyed the pub prior to this.
We got what we expected a good quick lunch from a standard menu in interesting historic surroundings. Whilst we were bemused that there was a shortage of standard menus and none on the tables the service we received was good. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I dined at this restaurant three nights in a row for dinner while staying at a nearby hotel. I ordered through the app and my food and drinks arrived promptly each time. The food was excellent and the staff was friendly.
