Very inviting from the outside and the inside did not disappoint. The staff were having some sort of gathering possibly a meal with friends but were straight over to attend me. Very little English is spoken, which I liked but within seconds they found me a menu in English. I did not need a menu as I just wanted a steak. They quickly provided a very basic salad and bread, then I settled on a fine rump steak. He asked me how I wanted it and he knew 'medium. ' I wanted medium rare, which was lost on him. He then showed me a small section on the menu which was nearly impossible to read even with my specs on, as it was orange writing in a red box with tiny print. I found what should have been med...
We ate here only because we were staying at the nearby Mercure hotel and the restaurant there was closed on Saturdays. This restaurant has a menu which concentrates on steaks. If you want fish, the choice is very limited and there are no vegetarian main course options. The restaurant lacks and sort of atmosphere and the tables are very close together. My wife had duck and I had an entrecote. Both were reasonably prepared, but my steak was not the best quality. It is quite cheap (70 Euro for two courses with wine and coffee).
Nice restaurant. The food is good. Nice portion size for the menu. The price is really good. The restaurant has a porch to sit in summer evenings. Next to the hotels. You can walk this is great after a day of driving.
Professional and very friendly service, perfect steak and delicious (also very pretty) carpaccio, good wine selection, a sunny terrace and a great price ... Highly recommended
