I went to the French Quarter Festival this past Saturday on April 13th. While waiting in line at the Crabby Jack’s booth, a cashier named Ashley seemed to be very dismissive. Being the only one in line, I waited in front of her thinking she’d take my order as she was finishing up counting a few food tickets. That was not the case. She goes on to ignore my presence, and calls the man in another line to take his order. The man briefly stated that he didn’t want to cut me, but she proceeded to say it was okay. Just came from the dentist and I got two teeth pulled and was very hungry so I stopped by Crabby Jack's to order some shrimp and the guy recommended he has dirty rice and macaroni and I really appreciate the little guy with the Gray beard at the front counter he was awesome he had the best attitude he really made my day the food was awesome and the price was wonderful I recommend this spot to anyone in the macaroni is pretty good
Funky little hole in the wall crabshack in NOLA! We ordered the oyster and shrimp Po boy and boy did we get a gigantic sandwich. There were so many fried oysters and shrimp on the Po-boy that they were spilling out all over onto our wrapping paper. I'm not kidding the sandwich is so huge that we will be eating the remainder of it for dinner tonight. If you want a great Seafood Po boy experience go to Crabby jack's!
LOVE IT! It's a small space, but it's setup great! Food is absolutely amazing, the service was great, and the environment allows you to socialize with others (you know, that thing everyone used to do before COVID) This place is a must to try at least once, but I bet you'll be back! All the food was very fresh and delicious... except... the fish tacos were served in grocery store shells. I prefer fried corn tortillas. Delicious fried green tomatoes, jambalaya, fried catfish, and smoked chicken. Parking: Parking was a little tight.
I recently discovered this restaurant and have returned multiple times, trying a new dish each visit. The food is delicious and the service is excellent.
