Horrible experience. On New Year's Day, I was okay with waiting, but they placed me at the first table next to the Hostess station, right where everyone congregates to settle their bills. Really? Especially during a period when we’re supposed to practice social distancing? There were plenty of other tables open. In fact, they even seated another couple at a table designed for four. Eventually, I requested a to-go box and decided to leave. The woman at the checkout was quite rude when I explained my situation. I won’t be returning!
Unfortunately, I spent New Year's Day 2024 by myself. Typically, I would prepare a feast of collard greens, black-eyed peas, macaroni and cheese, and sugar-cured ham, but I didn’t want to go through all that trouble for just me. So, I decided to order the same meal from Cracker Barrel (although they had pintos instead of black-eyed peas), and it turned out to be one of the best meals I’ve ever had there. I usually choose the roast, as it’s one of my favorite meats regardless of who cooks it. Everything was simply fantastic!
I went to this Cracker Barrel last Sunday. It was around 9:00 am. I asked for scrambled eggs, CRISPY bacon and tomato slices. It also took a while to get out food. The manager even came over and apologized for the wait. Finally got our food. The eggswere cold, the tomato slices were warm and the bacon was not cooked-literally was a blob of barely cooked bacon. They didrefund the bacon at my request. Not going back to this location.
The kitchen was somewhat slow, likely because the restaurant was quite busy. The food was in line with what you'd typically get at a Cracker Barrel, especially during the holiday season. We usually stop here on our way home after visiting Asheville, and we often end up waiting for a table.

My brother and I had breakfast together on Sunday, July 29th. I'm trying to limit my carb intake, so I asked for an omelet, and it was incredible. Although omelets aren’t on the menu, I really think they should think about adding them. Thank you, Cracker Barrel!
I thoroughly enjoyed my entire experience at the restaurant, from the service to the food. My only issue was that the cashier announced my tip for the waitress out loud, which made me feel uncomfortable. It's a detail that should remain private.
What a wonderful way to start the day! They welcome you like family, and the staff is amazing, fostering a warm and inviting atmosphere. I particularly enjoy sitting at a table right by the large fireplace. Thank you, Cracker Barrel!
The food is consistently outstanding, and the staff is always friendly. This is our go-to place for breakfast. Your haddock dinner rivals that of any seafood restaurant.

Today, I had two fried pork chops at Entree, and they were perfectly crispy and served hot! I also really enjoyed the sides of cooked carrots and turnip greens.
As usual, the staff was attentive and polite. The food was served hot and lived up to our expectations.
