A girlfriend and I have literally just left Crackerjacks bitterly disappointed as the new owner decides to remove some shelving that was attached to the tiled floor at the front of the restaurant. As it was we had to put up with the noise of the blender which echoes through the place, but to have this racket going on we couldn't even talk or hear each other for that matter. And her partner in crime is busy hammering the tiles whilst she's vacuuming. We up and left, lucky had finished. We did make a point that all this noise made for a very unpleasant dining experience. You want to reno, do it after hours.
Three recent visits to Crackerjack for brunch tells me that I must book ahead, not only because it is so popular but because it often has private functions. You can sit inside or outside under heaters. I am very much looking forward to trying it out during warmer months.The service is fine, the food is fine and servings are generous, very much standard cafe food but well-done. Although I am tired of Hot Chocolates that are tepid (not just here, its endemic). Nothing is spectacular except that view, a vista across Port Philip Bay from Carrum/Seaford.
Beautiful location and views! Dog friendly on the decking which is lovely. Great menu , food ok just disappointing when you order a side of toast with butter and get fried toast half cooked with oil instead of butter! I will try one more time as the other reviews were good! Parking you have to pay for so if you can park on the road or down a side street I would recommend.
Stunning views overlooking Port Phillip Bay, and so relaxing watching the waves and uninterrupted horizon. The service was friendly, the meals came very promptly and were well priced with a good local wine list to choose from. While this was a business trip, I plan make it back to Crackerjack Cafe again so that next time I can share the food and views with my partner.

Had not been here for a while but the standard of food and the great service have not changed. We had a late breakfast and it was everything we remembered. No hesitation in recommending this to anyone passing through. The views over the Bay are great and you are able to eat inside or out though in the winter outside can be a bit breezy.
The cafe is elevated and has magic views of the bay. I've only been for breakfast. Menu was good and food was nice. Playground and beach right next door. Location is what makes this place great.
We have try Crackerjack 3 times know the food just gets better. The View from he deck or inside is just grate. The staff are friendley and helpful will keep going back for more
The coffee is very good. The location and setting is lovely. The food is ok. The service is ok. Go to enjoy the location and the coffee and maybe share a meal

Nice and friendly, The Big Breakfast is quite a challenge and yummy ! The staff is very friendly and helpful. YES, they will definitely see us again.
