I stopped off here for a simple cup of coffee on my way for a walk. After almost 15 minutes of waiting, and seeing that there was only one other customer in the cafe, and one buying ice cream, I dared to stick my head through the window and ask if it would be long. The woman threw a total hissy fit, gave me my money back, called me rude and shouted at me in the middle of the shop. Actually I am quite glad I did not get my cup of coffee because this woman has an attitude and a face which could curdle milk at 100 yards' proximity! For friendly and professional service, go elsewhere.
Took my young son here to paint an item as a treat, was told it would take 2-3 weeks to come back and 6 weeks on I am still waiting. No texts or phone calls as promised to let me know what's going on and when I have phoned I've been told they are busy and will return my call.....no call ever received. The attitude of the staff are just bad....they really don't care and I'm amazed how this business is still going. The toilet is disgusting and even my 3yr old commented that he didn't want to sit on it. Would never recommend this place....take your hard earned money else where.
We had to wait a long time for two ham and cheese sandwiches at this restaurant. The sandwiches were made with thick bread typically found in transport cafes, and had only one thin slice of ham and a light sprinkling of grated cheese. We were also disappointed with the small portion of crisps that came with the sandwiches. The staff seemed uninterested in serving us. Although the prices were not cheap, the quality of the food did not match the cost. Next time, we will opt for takeout from Greggs and enjoy our meal on a bench.
Having lived in Porthcawl for 16mths we have been trying out all the coffe shops /cafes We stopped here for coffee hot chocolate a few wks ago it's now our regular daily stop. A coffee a chocolate milk shake or ice cream drink much cheaper than most places in Porthcawl , tastes the same or better than other more expensive places close by, lovely cheerful staff, quick service with a smile every time ,no doubt be back tomorrow

Located beneath the controversial building on the seafront in Porthcawl is a charming cafe where you can spend a rainy afternoon. For a fee, you can bring your children to enjoy a couple of hours of fun crafts, including china painting. There is also a designated messy corner for young children to play in, while you relax with a cup of tea.
This restaurant is a fantastic place to visit with excellent coffee and a unique, eclectic atmosphere. The decor is creatively artistic and the food options are delicious.
How nice it is to go to cafe that offers courteous service, prompt attention and a very tasty and satisfying snack at a reasonable price. All in all a happy eater!!
