Totally understand that tables are required for a later service, but the passive aggressive waitress was a bit too keen to stress this immediately upon our arrival as half our party were 8 mins late. Having then waited nearly 40 mins for fresh food to be cooked, we complained, which wasn’t received well. The owner was fairly gracious and deducted the dry and tasteless pizza (Chef’s special apparently! from our bill but we were then further disappointed to hear the waitress concerned saying that she didn’t care about being told off and laughing as we left. Poor show Cucina. Had the food been ok, and we hadn’t been automatically charged a 10% service charge, we may have given them a second cha...
Why is this place not packed?? We had two children's menu two lunchtime menus (instead of a la carte). This place has affordable and more expensive options, the decor is great and more importantly both food and service were fantastic. Fair enough, it's up one set of stairs but unless you physically can't manage them, you definitely need to eat there. If we not on holiday and due to return to the mainland, that would be our favourite restaurant.
Booked a table for our anniversary on 2 Sep. After realising I had not received a confirmation for the booking I called the restaurant but there was no response. Knowing restaurants suffer if bookings don’t turn up we made our way to the restaurant only to find a sign on the door saying closed for 2 weeks. Very poor, a recorded message could have been placed on telephone line and they could have noted it on Google as temporarily closed
I was very disappointed with my experience. The starters of bread and olives were subpar; the bread was hard, and the olives appeared to be from a can. The calamari was not fresh and extremely chewy. The main courses did not justify the £19 price tag per dish. At those prices, one would expect high-quality food and service, but that was not the case. It was refreshing to finally enjoy a meal with real flavor during our holiday, as most places only serve burgers and fries. This tasty Italian restaurant was a welcome change. The service was decent, and while the pasta selection isn’t extensive, the spaghetti marinara was absolutely delicious. The kids ordered pizzas, which were a huge hit. I would definitely recommend this place!
This place is really good, booked a table for the evening, arrived slightly early and was sat down straight away. Starters was good, had seafood spaghetti for mains and was really good in portions and taste. Prices slightly high but for a evening out well worth it in my opinion. Staff was polite and helpful, deserves a visit go and enjoy.Strong 4!
The staff and service were excellent. However, the fish dishes were overpriced, lacking flavor, and overly complicated, overshadowing the natural taste of the fish. Overall, it was too costly for what was offered.
