No longer a smoky bar! Clean and a full service bar. However, service was slow and failed to bring items to the table after being asked TWICE to bring lemons to the table. Another seated at the table sat while waiting for the server that had too many tables to return prior to food getting cold. My French dip was brought to the table without the dipping broth. Once brought to the table, the container was too small to dip the French Dip Sandwhich in. A smoke free clean bar doesn't compensate for slow service and missing food items! Duuuuuddeee! Bomb food!! A very hole in the wall kinda place. The shopping center is kinda run down but don’t judge a book by its cover. Place is good! Love the chicken tenders and fish and chips! For apps. The spinach and artichoke dip was awesome with fresh pita chips. Drinks are always top! The hospitality is always A+. They get busy but take a seat and relax for 2 min. I like a good steak. I've had three steaks at this location. The first one was terrible. Very very grisly and fatty. The second one was really excellent but it was yours in between before I went back to try again. Just went back the other day and got my third steak which was good. Fatty not grizzly but had absolutely no flavor. Usually you do a dry rub or something. It had zero flavor. They did do an excellent job on the onions and mushrooms that were on top thank God they were there because they added some flavor.
I was looking for a good Fish and Chips place since I moved here a few years ago. I couldn't find a good one until I tried this place. There fish and chips are as good as they come and they have plenty of other great dishes to satisfy your appetite. Such an underrated spot in a run down strip mall. Don't let this gem pass you by. Great food! I highly recommend the Rueben! Best I've had! My hubby had the turkey club and wowza! It looked delish! Fresh turkey, not the processed kind!
This is definitely a British Pub atmosphere and food. It has that old PUB feel and vibe. The menu feature mainly British style which is consistently very good. We had the Shepherd's Pie and the Fish n Chips. Both were delicious.
Little hungry around dinner time stop in. Live music playing It seemed to be a good mix of locals and visitors.
